Rating: - iron as advertised--for a pleasant change
The Black and Decker digital iron is fantastic--no leaks (yet). It is a heavy iron, but glides smoothly and the weight makes ironing fast and almost fun. The weight means only one pass--not multiple--to eliminate most wrinkles. The digital temperature setting is easy to use and the iron heats up very rapidly. Rating: - great iron
I did some research on irons and this rated very well and at a great price. And this iron is both.
Rating: - Fantastic Iron

I'd been prejudiced against Black and Decker products for a while now, the once-reliable company name has been producing a lot of junky products. I was looking for an iron that has some good weight to it, easy to operate, convenient in essential features. So far, this is a great iron. I've had it about a month. It's better than the more-expensive Rowenta, and better than the Proctor Silex I had before (which was too light in weight). The digital temperature and on-off switch is easy to operate. ... Read More
