Rating: - Terrible prodct - chips easily
These plates look beautiful but they chip easily. Within a year, many of the plates and cups have chips. Unfortunately, we will soon need to invest in another set but not Phaltzgraff.
Rating: - would you like a little mold with your meal?
I purchased two sets of this heavy, easily chipped dinnerware but the worst thing is that it retains moisture leaving rings on my dining table! Most appallingly, even after thoroughly drying them, they collect mold on the undersides!! Calls and emails to Platzgraff customer service were not returned so I'm assuming they are aware of the design flaw or don't care about their customers. I had to throw them all away.
Rating: - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I had owned my Pfaltzgraff Folk Art pattern for 19 yrs- Yes, 19. They were a workhorse for my family and I loved them. Since I was certainly ready for a change I choose the lovely Napoli pattern. I was so happy with my Folk Art set - I knew I'd be thrilled with my new pattern.

Rating: - Pretty for about a year
I wanted something durable.. yet pretty. My mother had "Village" and it still looks great. I had Winterberry for Christmas time and never had a problem either. So I thought I would buy Pfaltzgraff as well. I decided on Napoli. They now ALL 12 place settings have chips in them. I would NOT recommend these dishes to anyone! The chips are happening in the dishwasher! I have a brand new Maytag so it isn't the dishwasher. I have Henn Worshops stoneware and it doesn't chip in the dishwasher, nor has my Winterberry. ... Rating: - Pretty but too fragile
Buyer beware! Beautiful to look at but you can't actually USE it! Especially if you have kids. All are chipping. And Pfaltzgraff didn't stand behind this product for us. After a few months we called to complain and ask to exchange for another style, but we were basically told, "Sorry, no exchange. Everybody knows stoneware chips, you should have selected a different material". Um, what? That wasn't on your product description.
