This Steamvac was a gift for our daughter because she was always borrowing our Steamvac. She says this one works great. We have had our's for about 6 years and with 2 dogs coming in the house with mud & slush our carpets look new because we give them a deep cleaning with the Hoover. I love that they are so easy to fill and empty and that the carpet dries so quickly.

I had a similar model to this for several years and just wore it out from use. I wanted the new version of basically what I had before, because it worked so well. We have four kids and a dog. The carpets needed cleaning a lot. Also this came in very handy twice when the basement flooded because of the sump over ran. It works great with the hand attachment to clean carpets in the car. With 2 toddlers and a new puppy, this is a must for any mom or big family. This thing is easy to use and cleans like a dream! I have older carpet that had kid spit up, dog hair, etc. and after only a half hr of cleaning, it looks like new! The Clean Surge is great for high traffic areas--the dirt was ground in and it cleaned it up no problem. I recently ordered this unit to help me in removing urine stains left by a 90lb male greyhound! For the urine stains, I had to pretreat them, and go over them several times...and they are just about gone. Let's just say if someone other than myself walked through the rooms where the spots are, they probably would not see them. To me, they'll always be there!
