Rating: - A good replacement
So after my husband learned that a glass carafe + ceramic tile floor = big mess, we ordered this replacement for our Krups Il Duomo. No issues with the size, it fit perfectly. I am thankful that we kept the lid, as I am a little surprised that the lid is an extra purchase (and around $6!)
We're storing this one in the box in the cabinet so we don't repeat history...

This is the carafe I was looking for, same quality as the original Melitta Carafe... by the way, I have the Melitta expresso machine model MEX1B

It replaced what was broken and came quickly. What more do you want? Some espresso? Well, now I can make some again.

Not much to say about it, other than that it is an identical replacement for the original carafe I managed to shatter into a million little pieces. One caveat however, it does not come with a top, so make sure you keep yours.

I bought this after clumsily breaking my original pot for my Krups Espresso maker; it's not the exact size, shape as the original but it comes close and works just as well. Glad to have it and in fact I've bought another for back up in case of future blonde moments.
